§ 01 — The thesis

The compliance officer that fits in your pocket.

Walk a building. Snap a photo. Compliance Lens flags violations against fire, electrical, egress, ADA, and infection-control rules — then exports your CAP, LSRA, ILSM, and signed PDF report.

§ 02 — Capabilities

From walk-through to signed report, in one tool.

Compliance Lens isn't a spreadsheet with a logo. It's an inspection-grade workflow built on the codes you're actually audited against — wired end-to-end so a photo on Tuesday becomes a deliverable on Wednesday.

01

Photo-first capture

Snap with the iOS app or upload from desktop. Each frame is geotagged, time-stamped, and chain-of-custody hashed.

Offline-capable
02

Snap & analyze

Photos are instantly inspected against fire, electrical, egress, ADA, and infection-control rules. Each frame run against ten codebases with overlap reconciled.

12 codebases · 13,800+ rules
03

Edit & verify

AI flags. You confirm. Severity, code citations, and bounding boxes are all editable before sign-off. Every edit logged for the audit trail.

§ 06 — Codebases

We read the codes so your team doesn't have to scroll through them.

Each codebase is parsed to the section level. A single photo can return findings from three different codes; we reconcile severity, citation, and remediation in one record.

New AHJ on the horizon? Email codes@compliancelens.app — onboarding a new codebase takes about a week.

§ 07 — The deliverable

The kind of report your AHJ actually reads.

Every signed PDF includes a chain-of-custody manifest, the original photographs at full resolution, the cited code text inline, the corrective action plan, and your signature block. Nothing hand-typed.

§ 09 — Questions

What inspectors ask first.

Don't see your question? Email us at hello@compliancelens.app. A real person responds, usually within the same business day.

No. Compliance Lens is a force-multiplier for licensed inspectors — CFPS, CHFM, CHSP, and AHJ-recognized officers. Every finding is reviewed and signed by the human inspector before export. The tool removes transcription, citation lookup, and report assembly — not professional judgment.

iPhone 12 or newer, daylight or facility lighting (≥30 fc). The model degrades gracefully in low light — findings are returned with reduced confidence and flagged for re-capture. HEIC, JPEG, and PNG accepted up to 48 MP.

All processing happens in a HIPAA-aligned, BAA-covered environment. Faces and visible PHI are auto-redacted in exported reports by default; raw images are encrypted at rest with per-tenant keys. SOC 2 Type II report available under NDA.

Yes. Onboarding a new codebase takes about a week for jurisdictions with a published, structured code. We've added Georgia Title 25, several California Title 24 sections, and city-level fire-marshal supplements on customer request. Email codes@compliancelens.app.

Yes — that's the goal. The PDF includes chain-of-custody hash, original photos, cited code text, severity, CAP entries, and signatures. We work directly with state fire marshal offices and TJC tracer surveyors to keep templates aligned to current submission requirements.

Every finding is editable — severity, code citation, bounding box, and remediation. Dismissals require a documented reason and become part of the audit trail. A model-confidence score travels with every finding. In 14 months of customer use, override rates have averaged 6.4%.
